Website terms
Last updated 4 August 2026
These terms govern your use of this website. They are not the Kepto service agreement — if you become a customer, a separate agreement covers the product, and it takes precedence over anything here.
Who we are
This site is operated by Pivot Software (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa. Contact us at customers@kepto.co.za.
Using this site
You may read, share and reference this site freely. You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or anything connected to it
- Interfere with its normal operation, including by automated submission of the contact form
- Use it to send anything unlawful, misleading or harmful
- Reproduce substantial parts of it commercially without our written permission
Information on this site
We take care to describe Kepto accurately. Even so, the content here is general information about the product, not advice for your particular business, and not a contractual commitment about features or performance. Product capabilities change as we develop them.
Where this site describes pricing, availability or how the WhatsApp Business Platform behaves, those descriptions are our understanding at the time of writing. Meta sets and changes its own rates, policies and platform behaviour independently of us, and we cannot commit on their behalf.
Third parties
Kepto is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is their trademark, used here only to identify the platform Kepto works with.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Your responsibilities as a sender
If you use Kepto, you remain responsible for complying with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, POPIA, and the Consumer Protection Act as they apply to your messaging — including obtaining consent before messaging people and honouring opt-outs. We build the product to support compliant use and will decline to build features whose purpose is to circumvent those rules, but the obligation sits with the sender.
Availability
We do not guarantee that this website will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice. Service levels for the Kepto product itself, if any, are set out in the customer agreement rather than here.
Liability
To the extent the law permits, Pivot Software (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, or from reliance on information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act.
Privacy
Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here, with the date above, is the one that applies.
